Extremists of ASWJ attack Shia Muslims in Karachi, one martyred several injured

Violent fighting between Shia Muslims and Saudi-backed terrorists of ASWJ on Wednesday left the residents of the 36-B locality of Landhi in a state of panic.

AhlulBayt News Agency - The simmering tension between Shiite Muslims with banned terrorist outfit AhleSunnat –Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ) in the Landhi area Karachi took an ugly turn on Wednesday night  when a Shiite Man Mohammad Abbas man was shot martyred and four other persons were wounded in the firing of terrorist outfit AhleSunnat –Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ).

The tense situation in Landhi 36-B area Karachi was erupted on Tuesday when the management of local Shiite Muslim has constructed a boundary wall of the Isna-e-Ashri Mosque of the area which was attacked by the local culprits of ASWJ with some other groups. They attacked the shops and houses of Shiite Muslims with the backup of Darul-Uloom Korangi of Mufti Rafi Usmani and Mufti Taqi Usmani beside the Bengali’s locality.

Despite the contacts with Police and Rangers officials in last two days not a single mobile entered in the tense area in last two days before the murder of an innocent Shiite Man Mohammad Abbas in the firing of these terrorists.

The negligence of Rangers and Police has exposed the claims of these Law Enforcement Agencies in Karachi as they gave the free hand to these terrorists to torch the houses, shops and valuables of Shiite Muslims in last 48 hours.

Rangers have detained scores of people from both sides and also sealed the Isna-e-Ashri Shiite Mosque along with the Mosque of Takfiri’s which flare-up the violence.

Shiite leaders of MWM Ali Hussain Naqvi, Maulana Ashraf Muntaziri, SUC leader Maulana Jafar Subhani and Allama Abbas Kumaili visited the site and condemned the failure of Law enforcement agencies on the lost of precious life and injured of others.

The Shia Ulema Council (SUC), in a press conference on Thursday, condemned the killing of Abbas and attacks on the Shia community in the 36-B area.

Allama Shabbir Hasan, in charge of the SUC’s central political cell, along with other leaders, said some forces wanted to give the 36-B incident a sectarian colour.

“The Asna Ashari mosque is not controversial and it has been functional since 1972, where prayers have been organised regularly since then,” Allama said. “In the Shia doctrine, to pray on illegal land is prohibited.”

The Shia leaders said that a group, with the support of a particular political party, wanted to occupy the land adjacent to the mosque. “They have neither the documents of the land nor support of the residents of the neighborhood,” Allama  maintained. 

Funeral prayer of Martyr Muhammad Abbas offered

The funeral prayer of the martyr Mohammad Abbas of the Landhi 36-B violence was offered at Korangi J-1 area Karachi on Thursday.

The local Shiite leadership of Karachi including Allama Abbas Kumaili Of Jafaria Alliance Pakistan, Maulana Ashraf Muntaziri and Ali Hussain Naqvi of Majlis-e-Wehdatul Muslimeen (MWM) , and Maulana Jafar Subhani of Shia Ulema Council (SCU) were attended the funeral of Shaheed Mohammad Abbas beside the scores of the participants of the funeral prayer.

Shaheed Mohammad Abbas was shot killed by terrorist outfit AhleSunnat –Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ) on yesterday at Landhi 36-B Karachi and injured five others.

His brother Syed Haider Ali Jafari was also martyred in 2004 at Ali Reza Mosque Karachi bomb blast.
